Hi there, fellow real estate enthusiasts! Welcome to my real estate story! I am beyond thrilled to share my learnings and experiences in an area that served as my profession for a number of decades, and remains a key passion of mind to this day.
I am a retired general manager of a residential building company, possessing over 20 years of residential home sales and investing experience. During that time, I sold over 1,200 homes to individuals, families and everything in between. I’m also an active investor in real estate, so I possess an intimate understanding and appreciation of real estate from both the buyer and seller’s perspective.
My real estate journey is unique in that I started at the seasoned age of 40, after relocating to a new country with my family. I credit my success and durability in the profession to the personal and professional challenges that I overcame during my career. I’ve prepared this blog to chronicle these challenges and how they strengthened me in navigating the real estate landscape.
Real estate is such an expansive area, and to the uninitiated, can seem quite overwhelming. I’ve spent the last few months reflecting and documenting my experiences in the industry, both personal and professional, so that I may try to help those that are looking to purchase their first home, get into the profession themselves, or perhaps simply indulge their interest in the topic.
I enjoy writing about topics such as first home buyers, real estate investing, home financing, real estate market trends, alternative real estate ownership/investment opportunities, and personal finance. However, my love for real estate expands beyond these subjects and I am always interested to learn more about the area.
